In 2001, I realized my dream
of becoming completely free of conventional film. I am happy
to inform my clients that we have made our 5th purchase of a
high resolution digital camera. This latest camera works with
strobe lights and provides a high quality image with either a
single pop, 4 pops, or 16 pops of the strobe, depending on the
resolution required.
Please note that as per usual,
we only retain your files on our system for 10 days. Be sure
to back up those files in more than 1 place. Also, we are still
seeing sRGB files come into the studio. Check your computer to
make sure you are not set for the sRGB color space that Adobe
uses as their default. Our color space at the studio is set for
Adobe RGB (1998). sRGB is primarily used for graphics on the
internet.

| Wide
Format Poster Printing |
We can print your files to Poster Size,
in-house, on our wide format printer. These prints are ideal
for Trade Show displays and showcasing your products.
Posters can be printed from 720dpi to 2880dpi on paper, canvas
or backlit material (if using lightboxes). We use ARCHIVAL PIGMENTED
INKS which are said to resist fading under normal conditions
for over 100 years.
Along with the prints, we offer mounting and laminating on rigid
foamcore. If you prefer, we can laminate the prints in flexible
pouches that can be rolled for easier transportation in tubes.
Lamination is a great way to protect your prints.
Preparing files for poster
printing
| For
optimal output, set up your files in RGB at 240 ppi at the final
output size. A typical output size is 24" x 36". For
larger prints, please call us for details. All files should be
flattened and saved as tiffs. |
